Dear Parent/Guardians:

I hope this letter finds you and your family well. 

It has come to my attention that a significant number of students have been dropped off in the morning prior to 9:25.  Although I completely recognize the difficulty of a late school starting time for working parents, the school can not provide supervision for children prior to 9:25.  If your child is attending a morning club or activity, they should arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to the start of the activity.  Please review the dates of your meetings.  We have had many children dropped off on days when their club is not meeting.

The lost and found continues to grow.  Please have your child visit the lost and found outside the front office to find their lost items.  Please put your child’s name on the inside of their clothes and lunch boxes so we can return it to them.

We are waiting for the last 31 people to log on to the parent portal to update their information.  Thank you to everyone who has already done it.  If anyone has had a change in their home, cell or work phone please get back on and update that information.  The winter season always provides the potential for early dismissals, late openings, etc. and this is our most efficient means of contacting you.

Nurse Pat asked that I remind everyone not to send any over the counter medications in with your children, including cough drops.  They are prohibited in school.

Since WINGO has been a very popular event in the past, tickets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Please indicate which evening you prefer on the tear-off and return the tear-off with your payment in an envelope marked “PTA – Tackan Fun Night” as soon as possible.  Since the event is being offered on two evenings, all family members are welcome.

Admission includes three (3) WINGO cards and a pen to mark your cards.

Additional WINGO cards may be pre-ordered or purchased that evening for $0.50 each
